Introduction:

The P. F. Fitzpatrick Prize in Epidemiology and Public Health Medicine was established in memory of Dr. Patrick F. Fitzpatrick, former Deputy Chief Medical Officer of the Cork Health Authority, to recognize outstanding academic achievement in Epidemiology and Public Health Medicine at University College Cork

Eligibility criteria for the P. F. Fitzpatrick Prize in Epidemiology and Public Health Medicine at University College Cork:

The applicants must be a current UCC student.
The applicants must achieve first place in the Epidemiology for Evidence-Based Healthcare module at the Summer Third University Examination in Medicine.
The applicants must have studied at UCC for the two years immediately preceding the examination.

Application Process:

No separate application is required. The prize is awarded automatically based on academic performance.

Value of the Scholarship:

A EUR 400 is awarded to support a full-time student.
