Description:
The Julius E. Babbitt Study Abroad Scholarship was set up in memory of Julius E. Babbitt, a 1991 Bentley alumnus who passed away. Several of Babbitt's classmates created the fund in his honor to support Bentley students in their international education endeavors.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students.
- Applicants must be participating in a semester or academic year-long Bentley study abroad program.
- Applicants must be United States citizens or US Permanent Residents.
- Applicants must have a current FAFSA on file and demonstrate financial need.
- Applicants must be in good academic standing at Bentley (i.e. not on Academic Probation).
Evaluation Criteria:
Each applicant’s qualifications will be evaluated on an individual basis with consideration of multiple factors, including but not limited to: the applicant’s socioeconomic circumstances, financial need, status as a member of an underrepresented community, and status as a first-generation college student.
