Established in 2019 by Sandra Muir under the Create Change Scholarship Match Initiative and maintained by income generated from the endowment fund. The scholarship is in honor of distinguished alumnus, The Honourable John Muir, QC.

Eligibility Criteria for the Honourable John Muir QC Scholarship 2025:

Applicants must:

  • Be a domestic student
  • Demonstrate financial need or hardship
  • Be enrolled or intending to enroll full-time in:
    • Bachelor of Laws (Honours), or
    • A dual degree program that includes the Bachelor of Laws (Honours)
  • Not hold another scholarship deemed similar by the Dean of Law

Selection Criteria for the Honourable John Muir QC Scholarship 2025:

  • Academic achievement
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • Leadership, cultural, sporting, and/or community service achievements.

Application Process:

Students must submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.

Value of the scholarship:

The students will receive a value equal to the annual income from the endowment.
