Eligibility Criteria for The Dick and Mary Earle Scholarship in Technology:

  • Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.
  • Applicants must have resided in New Zealand for at least three years immediately preceding the year of selection.
  • Applicants must hold a BTech, BEng, BE or equivalent degree from a NZ university (with honours where awarded), in a field relevant to their intended postgraduate research.
  • Applicants must be undertaking postgraduate research (master’s or doctorate) in innovation and product development or bioprocess technology.
  • Applicants must submit a complete application by the closing date (including project outline, transcripts, references, and proof of citizenship).

Value of The Dick and Mary Earle Scholarship in Technology:

  • Up to NZD $17,000 per annum at Master’s level.
  • Up to NZD $25,000 per annum at Doctoral (PhD) level.
