Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must identify as one of the following ethnic groups:
- Black or Black British – Caribbean
- Black or Black British – African
- Mixed – White and Black Caribbean
- Mixed – White and Black African
- Other Black background
- Household income must be £25,000 or less per year.
- Must have applied for tuition fee support and maintenance loans through Student Finance or the
- Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS).
- Must be confirmed to receive full financial support for the 2025/26 academic year, and consent to share this info with the University.
How to Apply:
- Complete the online application form by 1st May 2025.
- All applications are reviewed impartially and shortlisted before being shared with the Cowrie Foundation.
- Successful applicants will be notified in Autumn 2025.
Additional Information:
Priority will be given to applicants with the lowest household income, those from areas with low progression to higher education, and those facing educational challenges.
