Eligibility Criteria for The Choctaw-Ireland Scholarship Programme 2025:

Applicants must:

  • Be a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
  • Be interested in a one-year taught Masters degree.
  • Be accepted into University College Cork (UCC) in Ireland.
  • Be interested in a degree from the College of Arts, Celtic Studies, and Social Sciences (CACSSS) at UCC.
  • Have a valid passport.

Value of The Choctaw-Ireland Scholarship Programme 2025:

  • Full tuition coverage at UCC.
  • €10,000 in living expenses.

Application Process:

  • Apply and be accepted into a UCC eligible programme by 28 April.
    • Program filters: Postgraduate, Full-time, College of Arts, Celtic Studies, and Social Sciences.
  • Email the following to scholarship@chahtafoundation.com:
    • UCC application number
    • Note indicating interest in the Choctaw-Ireland Scholarship
  • Upon acceptance to UCC, submit by 12 May:
    • Acceptance letter from UCC
    • CV/Resume
    • Personal Statement
