The Beinecke Scholarships are offered to highly motivated students to pursue graduate courses in the arts, humanities, and social sciences at any accredited university in the US. The foundation invites 137 colleges and universities to nominate a student for the Beinecke Scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The applicant must be a college junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree during the 2023-2024 academic year.
  • The applicant must demonstrate exceptional scholastic achievement and intellectual prowess.
  • The applicant should be a national of the US or a US citizen from American Samoa or the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
  • The applicants should ideally have a history of receiving need-based financial support during their undergraduate studies.
  • The applicant must have plans to enter a research- or creative-focused master’s or doctoral program in the arts, humanities, or social sciences.

Application Process:

  • In this scholarship, the colleges and institutions are invited to nominate the students for the scholarship.

Value of the scholarship

  • The recipients of the Beinecke Scholarship Program, get USD 5,000 before entering graduate school and USD 30,000 while attending graduate school.

    Yes, you can secure an education loan to study abroad at Beinecke Scholarship. Education loans are of two types- Collateral and non collateral. Collateral includes either: Immovable property – a house or a flat or land (or) liquid security – an FD, or LIC or shares or bonds. Agricultural lands are not accepted by any bank for education loan.
