Eligibility for the Tahir Scholarship:

  • Applicants must be Singapore citizens and Singapore permanent residents.
  • Applicants must be full-time undergraduates commencing their undergraduate studies at SMU.
  • Applicants must have enrolled in any program of study.
  • Applicants must possess good academic results (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00).
  • Applicants must have active involvement and commitment in community service or sports.
  • Applicants must demonstrate financial need.

Value of Tahir Scholarship:

Successful applicants will get a scholarship of $15,000 per annum towards subsidized tuition fees and/or study-related expenses.
