The TA Sillars Prize is an annual award supported by a generous donor in memory of their father, a retired headteacher and dedicated educationalist with a keen interest in History and English.

Eligibility for the TA Sillars Prize at University of the Highlands and Islands 2026:

• Applicant must have exceeded expectations during their studies.
• Applicant must have completed a BA or BA (Hons) in History, Literature (with a focus on English), or a joint degree in both subjects.
• Applicant must hold the relevant qualification in one of the listed subject areas.
