Bruce McDonald Accountancy Alumni Scholarship 2027

The Bruce McDonald Accountancy Alumni Scholarship 2027 was established by Swinburne Accounting Alumni and provides financial support to a second-year undergraduate student who demonstrates passion for accounting or an allied business discipline and has experienced educational disadvantage.

Eligibility criteria for the Bruce McDonald Accountancy Alumni Scholarship 2027:

• Applicants must be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, or Australian permanent resident with a Humanitarian Visa.
• Applicants must be a continuing second-year student in Semester 1, 2027.
• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an eligible undergraduate course.
• Applicants must provide evidence of educational disadvantage, which may include Personal information and location, Financial hardship, living with a disability or medical condition, and difficult family or life circumstances.
• Applicants must provide evidence of community involvement, such as Extracurricular community service, Sporting participation, and Leadership activities.
• Applicants must submit a personal statement of up to 500 words addressing why they should receive the scholarship, their interest in a career in Accounting and/or Business, and their future career aspirations.
• Applicants must provide a written reference from a teacher, community leader, or employer.
• Referees cannot be family members or friends.

• Applicants should complete an online application form and submit it with all supporting documentation by 31 October 2026.

Award: AUD 10,000 paid annually for up to two years.
