Swafford Family Scholarship at Victoria University of Wellington 

Established in 2002 by Dr Glenn Swafford, this scholarship supports outstanding students majoring in Education at Victoria University of Wellington. It is awarded based on academic merit, with preference given to applicants experiencing financial hardship when multiple top candidates apply.

Eligibility Criteria of the Swafford Family Scholarship:

This scholarship is open to any undergraduate or postgraduate student who is currently enrolled in an Education course at Te Herenga Waka-Victoria University of Wellington.

Selection Criteria: 

1. Applicants must be full-time Education majors at Victoria University of Wellington.
2. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, with preference to those experiencing financial hardship if multiple top candidates apply.

Application Process: A completed online application must be submitted on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. 

Award: NZD 5,000.

Note: Recipients must write a letter of thanks to the donor of the scholarship.
