The SUTD Graduate Merit Scholarship (SUTD-GEMS) aims to attract exceptional Singaporean graduates with a passion for teaching and research in technology and design to pursue doctoral studies at top international universities, ultimately joining SUTD as academics.

Eligibility for SUTD Graduate Merit Scholarship (SUTD-GEMS):

  • The applicant must be a citizen of Singapore.
  • The applicant can be a resident of Singapore but must receive citizenship by the time they obtain the award.
  • Applicants must have outstanding undergraduate academic records.
  • Applus must be applying / has accepted an offer to study / is currently pursuing their doctoral degree in a top overseas university

Value of SUTD Graduate Merit Scholarship (SUTD-GEMS):

  • The recipient of the SUTD Graduate Merit Scholarship (SUTD-GEMS) will be entitled to:
    • Monthly Stipend.
    • Allowance.
    • Future employment opportunities.
