  • Sussex Excellence Scholarships, 2022 are automatically awarded to students who meet the required threshold in one of the eligible qualifications. 
  • Subject areas under Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) degrees are not considered for the scholarship.
  • Candidates applying for Sussex Excellence Scholarships, 2022 must-have accepted the University of Sussex as their firm choice.
  • The scholarship can be combined with other scholarships offered by the University of Sussex.
  • In the case of transfer students, their performance academic performance is considered for the assessments.
  • Candidates who repeat the first year at Sussex are ineligible to apply for the scholarship.

Application procedure:

  • If you are applying with any of the qualifications listed in the eligibility criteria section, then you are automatically awarded the scholarship if you meet the required grade. There is no application form.
  • If the applicant's qualification is not listed in the eligibility criteria section, you are required to complete the Sussex Excellence Scholarship application form to be considered for one of the 10 additional awards available.
  • The recipients will receive confirmation of the award at registration in September.
