Summer Language Scholarships at Middlebury Institute 2025

Middlebury Institute is inviting applications for summer language scholarships. Applicants will qualify for a scholarship by demonstrating their need to improve their language skills or learn a new language to meet the language proficiency requirements for their degree program. Tuition scholarships will be awarded for the Institute’s Summer Intensive Language Program or the English Preparation for Graduate Students programs.

Eligibility Criteria of the Scholarship:

• Applicants may come from any nationality.
• Applicants must intend to enroll in a master's program offered at the university.
• Applicants must enroll in the language certification in one of the following schools:
  • Middlebury Language Schools
  • Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey

Application Process:

• All eligible candidates must first apply for the master's program at the university.
• They must indicate their interest in applying for the scholarship in the scholarship section.

Value of the Scholarship:

You will be eligible for a full or partial scholarship to attend any of Middlebury's world-renowned intensive summer language programs.
