  • Applicant must ensure that any proposed research complies with the University’s research and Institutional Review Board (IRB) guidelines. Grant funding does not constitute IRB approval.
  • Applicant must demonstrate that the proposed funding will improve or enhance the student experience.
  • Applicant must not use grant funding to reimburse research subjects.
  • Applicant must agree to participate in a testimonial describing how the funds were used and how the award enhanced their Iowa experience.
  • Applicant must not have received another University of Iowa Center for Advancement student grant within the previous three years.
  • Applicant must acknowledge that the grant is not renewable.

Application Process at the Student Impact Grant at University of Iowa 2026:
