Eligibility for the Stephen Coleman Memorial Prize:

  • Be enrolled as a full-time student in the Faculty of Engineering.
  • Be enrolled in CIVIL 782 – Water Resources Engineering.
  • Be studying towards either:
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), or
    • A master’s degree within the Faculty of Engineering.
  • Achieve the highest marks in the Stage I and Stage II projects in CIVIL 782.
  • Achieve a minimum mark of 80%.
  • Meet the level of academic merit required.

Value of the Stephen Coleman Memorial Prize:

  • Up to NZD $1,500
  • Paid as a single lump sum
  • One prize awarded annually

Application Process:
