Eligibility for the STAR Scholarship at the University of Strathclyde:

Applicants must:

  • Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for an undergraduate degree at the University of Strathclyde.
  • Be entering for the first time from a Scottish secondary school with low progression to HE.
  • Reside in a postcode within the SIMD Quintile 1 (bottom 20% most deprived areas).
  • Have received EMA or free school meals in the past three years.
  • Provide a reference from their Head Teacher or designated staff member.
