Eligibility Criteria for St Andrews Sanctuary Scholarship 2026:

Applicants must have an official UK Home Office status as one of the following:
- Asylum Seeker
- Refugee
- Humanitarian Protection (with forced migration background)
- Limited Leave to Remain (with forced migration background)
- Discretionary Leave to Remain (with forced migration background)
Applicants must have Scotland Home or Rest of UK fee status
Applicants must be applying to or currently enrolled at the University of St Andrews
Applicants must be studying undergraduate or postgraduate (taught or research) programmes
Applicants must demonstrate financial need
Applicants must be studying full-time or part-time (daytime)

Value of St Andrews Sanctuary Scholarship 2026:

Full tuition fee coverage (after any eligible public funding such as SAAS/SFE)
Accommodation support:
- Undergraduate: Equivalent value of £9,119 per year
- Postgraduate: Equivalent value of £10,762 per year
Maintenance allowance:
- £110 per week
- Paid for 39 weeks (undergraduate) or 52 weeks (postgraduate)
Award paid annually for the full duration of the programme
