Eligibility for Sports scholarships (England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, EU or International) at the University of Stirling:
- All undergraduate and graduate students who fulfill the criteria specific to their sport and who exceed the academic requirements for admission are eligible for this scholarship.
- Sports scholarships are not typically combined with any other university scholarship, but they can be awarded in addition to the Undergraduate Choice Scholarship, the UK Alumni Scholarship, and the International Undergraduate Awards. During the academic years 2023–2024 and 2024–2025, applicants may submit applications for the Sports Scholarship in addition to the EU Undergraduate Scholarship and EU Postgraduate Scholarship.
- Undergraduates pursuing an honors degree would receive a £2,000 fee waiver for each of the four years of study, as scholarships are given out in the form of fee waivers for each year of study. The sports scholarship is only valid for the first three years of the undergraduate program because students from England, Wales, and Northern Ireland are eligible for a full waiver of the fees associated with their Honours year.
