Special President’s Research Grant on Motherhood 2026

Sofia University is offering interdisciplinary research grant on motherhood and its impact on individuals, families, and society, fostering academic advancement and meaningful real-world impact which is open to Sofia University students, faculty, and alumni.

Eligibility for Special President’s Research Grant on Motherhood 2026

• The Applicants enrolled at Sofia University
• Applicants from all academic programs and disciplines.
• Applicants may be Sofia University faculty members or alumni.

Selection Criteria:

• Applications are evaluated by the President and Executive Committee, with Institutional Review Board (IRB) review where applicable.
  
• Selection is based on fulfillment of requirements, research quality and relevance, and alignment with the grant’s objectives.
• Consideration is given to potential scholarly and community impact; decisions are final and deliberations remain confidential.

Application Requirements:

• Submit a current CV
• Provide a research proposal of up to 500 words, including current literature references and a dissemination plan.
• Submit a professional biography of up to 300 words.
• Student applicants must provide a faculty recommendation; alumni applicants must provide the name of a Sofia faculty member for a potential recommendation.
