Overview

The Southampton Presidential International Scholarship is open to international students starting their course in 2024 for either undergraduate or postgraduate master's degrees. For undergraduates, the scholarship covers each year of study, while for postgraduates, it covers the first year. There are 25 scholarships available in total, comprising 10 full-fee awards and 15 £10,000 fee awards.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must have a University of Southampton offer.
  • Eligibility includes paying overseas tuition fees and not having an external scholarship.
  • Exclusions of the courses: PGCert, PGDip, Foundation, PGR, Distance Learning, partner institutions, Malaysia campus, CPD courses, and certain undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences programs.
  • Pre-sessional English students can apply if they have an offer for undergraduate or postgraduate study.

Deadline to Apply:

  • The scholarship is available for applicants from October 23, 2023, until 5 pm (UK time) on April 12, 2024. Results will be communicated by the end of May 2024.
  • Late applications will not be considered. Successful applicants will be notified via email, including an attached confirmation letter.

Value of the Scholarship:

£10,000 off your tuition fees or 100% off.
