Southampton University is pleased to offer our Southampton Electronics and Computer Science (ECS) Commonwealth Scholarships to new international students from Commonwealth countries to demonstrate commitment to building greater inclusivity in our ECS community and widening access to enable well-qualified international students to study in the UK.

Eligibility Criteria for the Southampton Electronics and Computer Science Commonwealth Scholarship 2026:

Applicants must:

Apply for an eligible Electronics and Computer Science (ECS) undergraduate or postgraduate master’s course before applying for the scholarship
Receive a course offer before the scholarship closing date
Be a resident of one of the eligible countries (see below)
Be classified as an international student paying the Overseas fee
Not be receiving any external scholarship that covers full tuition fees
For undergraduate applicants: select the University of Southampton as their firm choice
Meet overseas fee status requirements.

Value of the Southampton Electronics and Computer Science Commonwealth Scholarship 2026:

There are 12 scholarships for £5000 each. These are available to international students applying to study for an Electronics and Computer Science (ECS) undergraduate or postgraduate master's degree.
