SMP Engineering Innovator Award

The SMP Engineering Innovator Award supports new high school applicants admitted to the Engineering Transfer Program at the University of Lethbridge.

Eligibility Criteria for the SMP Engineering Innovator Award:

  • Applicants must be new high school applicants.
  • Applicants must be admitted to the Engineering Transfer Program.
  • Applicants must have a minimum admission average of 70%
  • Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement.
  • Applicants must demonstrate leadership and/or entrepreneurship or community service.
  • Preference is given to applicants who demonstrate entrepreneurship.
  • Recipients must confirm full-time enrolment at the University of Lethbridge.
  • The award is payable for enrolment in classes during the Fall and Winter semesters immediately following the granting of the award.

Application Process for the SMP Engineering Innovator Award:

  • Applicants must complete the Lethbridge Application for Scholarships, Awards and Bursaries to be considered.

Award:

  • Successful applicants will receive an award of CAD 1,500.
