Applicants must:
- Be registered full-time at LMU Munich in a regular study program
- Be in the 3rd semester or higher for Bachelor (or state exam, teacher education, diploma, PhD), or in 1st semester for Master’s
- Not hold a German Abitur or German university degree
- Not be entitled to BAföG or other statutory funding
- Demonstrate financial need (based on max BAföG rate of €934)
- Have received less than 30 months of funding or a max of three one-year scholarships previously
- Earn no more than €520 per month
Value of SIST LMU Study Scholarship at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich 2025:
Up to €650 per month for up to 10 months (subject to Bavaria funding approval)
