Sir Mark Dunajtschik PhD Scholarship in Construction at Victoria University of Wellington

This scholarship, funded by Sir Mark Dunajtschik, supports the development of Victoria University’s construction programme. It is designed for PhD students conducting research in construction-related fields under the guidance of the Sir Mark Dunajtschik Professor (Chair) in Construction.

Eligibility Criteria of Sir Mark Dunajtschik PhD Scholarship: 

1. Applicants must have a Master’s qualification and be accepted into the PhD programme at Victoria University of Wellington.
2. Candidates should outline in their Statement of Research Interests how their proposed research aligns with the field of construction.

Selection Criteria: 

1. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Architecture, Construction, Architectural Engineering, or a related field with an excellent GPA and intend to pursue a PhD on a construction-related topic.
2. Preference will be given to candidates experiencing financial hardship.

Application Process: A completed online application must be submitted on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. 

Award: The scholarship will cover tuition fees per annum for 3 years.

Note: 

1. Recipients are asked to write a letter of thanks to the donor within one month of receiving the award.
2. Recipients are expected to provide an end-of-year progress report each year.
