Sir Eric Smart Masters Scholarship in Agricultural Research at the University of Western Australia 2026

Introduction: 

The Sir Eric Smart Masters Scholarship in Agricultural Research is a coursework scholarship offered by the University of Western Australia (UWA). It was established through a bequest from Sir Eric Smart, a pioneering cereal producer, to support high-achieving students undertaking research focused on agricultural productivity in Western Australia.

Eligibility requirements for the Sir Eric Smart Masters Scholarship in Agricultural Research at the University of Western Australia:

• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a master’s degree by coursework and dissertation within the Faculty of Science at the University of Western Australia.
• Be undertaking the research development and/or research project units of their course.
• Conduct research related to agricultural productivity, specifically benefiting the light lands between Perth and Geraldton, Western Australia.

Value of the Scholarship:

A full-time student will be awarded AUD 5,000.
