The Silvers Scholarship helps talented new scholars develop their academic skills and pursue the kind of intellectually engaged work that made Professor Silvers a remarkable activist and advocate for equality and justice.
Eligibility criteria:
- Open to all nationals.
- Must provide a self-reported statement of your financial need.
- Preference will be given to students who have immigrated to the U.S. or have at least one parent who has immigrated but is not limited to, U.S. citizens, green card holders, or students with a visa.
- The minimum GPA requirement is 3.20 for both undergraduate and graduate students, whether it is cumulative or from SF State.
- Undergraduate students must be enrolled in at least 8 units, while graduate students must be enrolled in at least 7 units.
