- Applicants must be majoring in art at the university.
- Applicants must meet or exceed the Art Department’s minimum standards for academic and artistic achievement/progress.
- Applicants must demonstrate self-described financial need.
- Applicants may be entering or continuing students.
- Undergraduate applicants must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Graduate applicants must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Undergraduate applicants must be enrolled in at least 12 units.
- Graduate applicants must be enrolled in at least 9 units.
Application Process for the Sher-Right Scholarship in Art:

- Applicants must upload a single PDF containing A statement of no more than 300 words about the submitted work, a digital portfolio of 10 artwork images and/or web links to audio/video, artwork labels including title, date, media, size, and other significant information, and one additional page of supporting material, such as an artist statement, resume, or exhibition list.
