Overview

Students with or without an approved APA, URS, or other competitive higher degree by research (HDR) scholarship are eligible to apply for a supplementary SERC scholarship. SERC top-up scholarships are paid in addition to the award funding provided by any other HDR scholarship.

Eligibility:

  • Interested candidates must fulfill the Master's or PhD admission requirements for the relevant university, including English language requirements.
  • Applicants must have a First Class Honours degree or equivalent and undertake Masters or PhD studies associated with one of the four SERC research programs.
  • Applications for any other competitive higher degree by research scholarship need to be submitted directly to the relevant university.
