Seattle U Promise for Seattle Promise Student

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Seattle U Promise scholarship, incoming transfer students must meet the following requirements:

• Be enrolled at one of the Seattle Colleges (Seattle Central, North Seattle, South Seattle) as a Seattle Promise student.

• Be enrolled in the Washington State College Bound Scholarship Program.

• Complete a Direct Transfer Agreement (DTA) or Associate of Science Transfer (AS-T) degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

• Complete all necessary prerequisite classes for the program they wish to pursue at Seattle University.
  Submit a transfer application to Seattle University by the quarterly application deadline.

• File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by February 1 prior to enrolling at Seattle University (must be eligible for federal aid).

• Maintain satisfactory academic progress while enrolled at Seattle University and fulfill the yearly FAFSA filing requirement.

Benefits and Value

• Eligible students will receive a guaranteed full-tuition award to attend Seattle University, which covers the cost of tuition.

Application Process

To apply for the Seattle U Promise scholarship, students must:

• Be enrolled at one of the Seattle Colleges (Seattle Central, North Seattle, South Seattle) as a Seattle Promise student.

• Complete the Washington State College Bound Scholarship Program.

• Complete a DTA or AS-T with a 3.0 GPA or higher and all prerequisite classes.

• Apply as a transfer student to Seattle University by the quarterly deadline.

Note - File the FAFSA by February 1, before enrolling, & Students who meet these criteria are guaranteed admission and will receive full tuition awards to support their education at Seattle University.
