Eligibility for Scholarship in The History Of New France Or Francophones Of North America:

Applicants must:

• Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or international student.
• Be enrolled in a Master’s or Doctoral program in History at Laval University.
• Ensure their thesis or dissertation examines an aspect of the history of New France or Francophones in North America.
• Not hold a SSHRC or FRQ-SC master’s scholarship at the time of application.
• Not have previously received this scholarship.

Application Process:

All eligible candidates must complete and submit the online application along with the following documents:

• Cover letter,
• Resume,
• Document with a title presenting the broad outlines of the dissertation or thesis project (two-page),
• Official transcripts,
• Proof of registration in the master's or doctoral program.

Value of the Scholarship:

1 Scholarship of CAD 2,000.
