Eligibility for the Sarawak Energy Scholarship program:

Pre-University / Foundation / A-Levels:

21 years old or below at the time of application.
Minimum 8As in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM). Trial SPM results accepted for students taking SPM in 2024.
Must demonstrate leadership qualities, teamwork, and excellence in extracurricular activities/sports.
Not a recipient of any other scholarship/financial aid; no family member currently holds the Sarawak Energy Scholarship.

Undergraduate Programme:

24 years old or below at the time of application.
Minimum 8As in SPM or 3.30 CGPA in STPM/Matriculation/Foundation/Diploma.
Strong leadership qualities, excellent team player, excels in extracurricular activities and sports.
Not a recipient of any other scholarship/financial aid; no family member currently holds the Sarawak Energy Scholarship.

Master’s Degree (Coursework Only):

30 years old or below at the time of application.
Minimum 3.30 CGPA in Undergraduate Degree.
Electrical Engineering, Accounting, Finance.
Strong leadership qualities, excellent team player, excels in extracurricular activities and sports.
Full-time study only; not employed; not a recipient of other scholarships; no family member currently holds the Sarawak Energy Scholarship.

PhD / Doctoral Degree:

30 years old or below at the time of application.
Minimum 3.30 CGPA in Undergraduate and/or Master’s Degree.
The proposal must be related to Sarawak Energy’s core business and ready during application.
Strong leadership qualities, excellent team player, excels in extracurricular activities and sports.
Full-time study only; not employed; not a recipient of other scholarships; no family member currently holds the Sarawak Energy Scholarship.
