Eligibility Criteria for Sanctuary Scholarship at City University of London 2026:
- Be an asylum seeker or have Discretionary Leave to Remain or another form of temporary leave due to an asylum or human rights application.
- Not be eligible for tuition fee loans or maintenance loans from Student Finance England, Wales, NI, or SAAS because of immigration status.
- Have a conditional or unconditional offer for full-time undergraduate study at City St George’s, University of London, applied through UCAS.
- Have the right to study and consent to the Visa Compliance Team contacting the Home Office.
- Be a new full-time entrant starting Year 1 of the programme.
- Be currently attending a school, college, or community or voluntary group able to provide a supporting reference.
- Must not hold an undergraduate or postgraduate degree from the UK or abroad.
- For courses requiring a DBS check for clinical placements, applicants must ensure they can pass this check, as failure may result in suspension or withdrawal.
- Eligible undergraduate programmes are offered at Clerkenwell, Moorgate, and Tooting campuses.
- Medicine MBBS courses are not eligible for 2026/27.
