Eligibility
- Scholarships are open to South African nationals.
- Applicants who secured an average of 65% in the degree preceding the Honour’s, Master’s or Ph.D. are eligible for the scholarship.
- Candidates who have demonstrated academic excellence in their field of studies are considered.
- Designated groups will be given priority.
- Candidates whose field of study that have a strong relevance to the national development of the country will be preferred.
- Applicants are not permitted to hold supplementary bursaries, grants or emoluments.
- University staff members applying for the scholarship will have to provide a supporting letter from their human resource department.

- Applicants must submit a completed application form South African Identity Document (ID).
- Applicants need to submit their academic transcripts.
- Applicants are required to submit admission letter indicating registration.
- Candidates will be required to submit a motivating letter in about 100- 150 words.
