S R de la Mare Memorial Prize at University of Auckland 2026

Eligibility Criteria for S R de la Mare Memorial Prize:

• Be a female student enrolled in the MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) programme at the University of Auckland.
• Have completed Phase 2 (MBChB Years 4 and 5).
• Achieve the best academic record in Phase 2, based on clinical performance and progress tests across Years 4 and 5.
• Meet the selection criteria as determined by the Head of the Medical Programme.

Value of S R de la Mare Memorial Prize:

The recipient receives a cash prize of NZD 250. The prize is awarded annually and cannot be shared.

Application Process:

There is no direct application. Eligible students are nominated to the Scholarships Office, and the recipient is selected by the University of Auckland Council on the recommendation of the Head of the Medical Programme.
