Created in 1996 by Michael A. Whistle in honour of his father, Ronald, who was employed in Campus Development at Lakehead University for over 16 years. Awarded to an in-course student majoring in Economics. Preference will be given to a student from Thunder Bay.

Eligibility for Ronald J Whistle LU 30th Anniversary Bursary:

Must be an in-course undergraduate student at Lakehead University
Must be currently enrolled in and majoring in Economics
Must have successfully completed at least one year of study
Must be in satisfactory academic standing, as defined by the University
Preference will be given to students who are from Thunder Bay, as determined by place of permanent residence or high school attendance
