About the Scholarship:

This grant celebrates the extraordinary achievements of Robin Chan. A recipient of the Supreme Court Prize, he gave back a great deal to the students and programs at Melbourne Law School. The Robin Chan Memorial Grant was established with the support of Robin’s family, friends, and colleagues to assist current students.

Eligibility Criteria for Robin Chan Memorial Grant 2026:

  • Applicants need to be admitted to the Juris Doctor course at Melbourne Law School.
  • Applicants should submit an online Student Financial Assessment form and applications will be assessed and ranked by Scholarships & Bursaries (University Services) using the Student Financial Assessment process.
  • Applicants must demonstrate community involvement.
  • Applicants should have a weighted average mark of 65% or greater.

Students must submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.

Value of the Scholarship:

A single payment of up to AUD 3,000.
