Overview
The main purpose of the prize is to recognize and encourage excellence in the study of insurance law.
Eligibility for Robertsons Prize in Insurance Law:
- Be enrolled full-time or part-time in:
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB), or
- Bachelor of Laws (Honours) LLB(Hons).
- Achieve the highest overall mark in one of the following courses:
- LAWCOMM 424 Insurance Law (primary course), or
- LAWCOMM 453 Aspects of Insurance Law, or
- LAWHONS 734 Issues in Insurance Law (if LAWCOMM 424 is not offered).
- Attain at least an A- grade as a minimum standard.
Value of Robertsons Prize in Insurance Law:
The value of the Prize will be $1,500.
Application process:
- No application required.
- Students are nominated to the Scholarships Office based on academic performance.
- Final decision made by the University of Auckland Council upon recommendation of the Dean of Law.
