Eligibility for Roberto Rocca Fellowship:

  • The applicants must be passport holders of Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, Indonesia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, or Romania.
  • Applicants must pursue a Ph.D. program outside their home country.
  • Applicants who are employees of the sponsoring companies are ineligible for the Fellowships.
  • Applicants are required to demonstrate exceptional performance across all their prior professional and academic pursuits.
  • Applicants must demonstrate intellectual prowess and the ability to complete the PhD program.
  • The eligible programs for this fellowship are the following:
    • Metallurgy Engineering
    • Materials Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Petroleum Engineering (limited to the aspects of drilling, completion, and non-conventional oil and gas production)
    • Data Science
    • Environment
