Robert E. Collins Endowed Scholarships at San Francisco State University 2026

Robert E. Collins Endowed Scholarships provide scholarships to students who are employed as student assistants in the J. Paul Leonard Library OR who volunteer for the Friends of the Library

Eligibility criteria:

• Students must work as a student assistant or volunteer in the J. Paul Leonard Library during both the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters and continue their enrollment at SF State for the subsequent fall semester.
• Previous Collins Scholarship recipients are ineligible to reapply, but those who applied without receiving the award may apply again.
• Undergraduate students must enroll in 6 units.
• Undergraduate students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5, while graduate students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Value: $2,000

Application requirements: Students must complete an application including their CV or resume, transcripts, and a letter of recommendation from their supervisor in the J. Paul Leonard Library. In addition, applicants must include essays answering the questions.
