Eligibility Criteria of the Robert Ackrill Haigh Scholarship
- Open to International (including EU) and UK (home) students enrolled in the School of Arts and Creative Technologies.
- Awarded in memory of Robert Ackrill-Haigh to a talented first-year undergraduate string player, selected at the end of Semester 2.
- The recipient will receive a one-time payment of GBP 1,000, based on their skill, improvement, and dedication in orchestral performance during Year 1.
- Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in Music or Music and Sound Recording and have completed their first year.
Application Process: No formal application is required — all first-year undergraduate string players will be automatically considered for the award.
