The Rob Saik Bar None Award in Agriculture is supported by endowed funds from Rob Saik, BSc Agriculture 1983, and former Bar None Director, and it supports students entering or continuing in the first year of eligible agriculture and animal health undergraduate programs at the University of Alberta.

Eligibility criteria for the Rob Saik Bar None Award in Agriculture at the University of Alberta 2026:

• Applicants must have satisfactory academic standing.
• Applicants must be entering or continuing in the first year of an eligible undergraduate degree.
• Applicants may be entering from high school, transferring from another post-secondary institution, or continuing in the first year.
• Applicants must be enrolled in either the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Bachelor of Science in Agricultural/Food Business Management, majoring in Agricultural Business Management, or the Bachelor of Science in Animal Health.
• Applicants must demonstrate leadership through involvement in volunteer, community, sports, or political activities.
• Preference is given to students whose family's primary source of income is from farming.
• Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership.
