The Rob Riley Memorial MBA Scholarship was established to assist and encourage business education among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to honor Rob Riley's legacy. Rob Riley was a well-known Aboriginal activist and community leader who devoted his life to promoting social justice for Australian Aboriginals. Rob served in several high-profile positions, including chairperson of the National Aboriginal Council, CEO of the WA Aboriginal Legal Service, and senior advisor to the Federal Minister for Aboriginal Affairs. Rob Riley won the Human Rights Medal in 1996 and founded Curtin's Centre for Aboriginal Studies.

Eligibility for Rob Riley MBA Memorial Scholarship at Curtin University:

  • The candidate must be of Indigenous Australian or Torres Strait Islander heritage.
  • The candidate needs to start their program in the first trimester of 2024.
  • The applicant must be a domestic student paying all fees.
  • The applicant cannot receive any other support, fee reduction, or scholarship.
