RME Ken Wood Memorial Award

The RME Ken Wood Memorial Award helps to provide support to full-time students who are enrolled in the second year of the Agriculture and Heavy Equipment Diploma at Olds College.

Eligibility criteria for the RME Ken Wood Memorial Award:

• Applicants must be full-time students at the college.
• Applicants must be enrolled in the second year of the Agriculture and Heavy Equipment Diploma at the college.
• Applicants must have achieved a minimum 2.8 GPA in their first year.
• Applicants must be actively involved in the community.
• Applicants must demonstrate an interest in investment in the agriculture industry.
• Applicants must demonstrate their impact on their agricultural community.

Application process for the RME Ken Wood Memorial Award:

• Applicants must submit a personal statement of 1500 words or less describing why they feel that investment in the agriculture industry is important and a short personal narrative on how they have impacted their own agricultural community.
• The successful recipient of the RME Ken Wood Memorial Award will be required to meet with the RME management team on campus for an award presentation.
• Applicants must submit a personal statement of 1500 words or less describing why they feel that investment in the agriculture industry is important and a short personal narrative on how they have impacted their own agricultural community.
• The award will be nominated by instructional staff in cooperation with senior management at Rocky Mountain Equipment.
