Rising Scholars Grant

Introduction: 

The Rising Scholars Grant supports eligible international students from selected countries, as well as international students who have been in Canada for at least one year, who are enrolling in eligible undergraduate programs at University Canada West.

Eligibility criteria of the Rising Scholars Grant: 

• Applicants must be international students from one of the eligible countries listed by UCW, or international students who have been in Canada for at least one year.
• Applicants must be admitted to the Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication program.

Application process for Rising Scholars Grant: 

• No separate application is required.
• Eligible applicants are automatically considered during the admission process.

Award: up to CAD 25,440

Note: Available only to new students starting in 2026, Winter 2027, or Spring 2027. The grant is applied as a tuition credit and may be prorated if transfer credits are awarded.
