Eligibility Criteria for Rico Mariani Entrance Scholarship for Black and Indigenous Students:

Applicants must:

Be a Black or Indigenous student entering Year One of an undergraduate Computer Science program (excluding Software Engineering)
Meet the definition of Black or Indigenous
For Indigenous applicants, complete identity verification through the university’s Office of Indigenous Relations
Demonstrate strong academic achievement
Show community involvement through extracurricular or volunteer activities
Preference is given to students advancing Black or Indigenous initiatives in their communities.

Value of Rico Mariani Entrance Scholarship for Black and Indigenous Students:

The scholarship is valued at up to $6,000, awarded annually to one recipient.

Application Process:
