    It is committed to the timeless journalistic aspiration of seeking truth and reporting it, as well as the ongoing work of remaking the profession and the organizations that enable it. The focus is on journalism, the media industry, and the public that they serve.

    Eligibility criteria for the Reuters Institute Journalist Fellowship Program:

    • Open to journalists from all over the world, including Europe, Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, North America, and Latin America.
    • Journalist applicants must have a minimum of five years’ journalistic experience or, in rare cases, demonstrate an equivalent level of expertise.
    • Journalist applicants who receive offers to study at Oxford will be required to demonstrate their proficiency in English in order to fulfill the conditions of their offer. 

    Benefits of the Reuters Institute Journalist Fellowship Program:

    Most journalists on the programme are fully funded. Successful applicants get their fees covered and receive a monthly stipend of £2,000, which will be enough to cover the cost of accommodation, food, and general living expenses. 

    Application Process: 

    • Prepare the required documents:
      • A one-page project proposal outlining the issue you intend to research.
      • 150-word project summary.
      • A one-page motivation statement explaining why you are a suitable candidate.
      • Two-page CV summarizing your journalistic career.
      • Email addresses for two referees.
    • Submit the application via the Reuters Institute online application portal before the deadline.
