Eligibility Criteria for Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships 2026:

Applicants must:

Be enrolled in a higher degree by research (HDR), either a research doctorate (PhD) or research masters (MPhil/Masters by Research) at an eligible Australian university.
Be either domestic or international students (some universities may limit the number of international awards).
Be enrolled at an Australian higher education provider (HEP) that receives RTP block grant funding.
Satisfy any additional selection requirements set by the host university (such as academic merit, research proposal, and referees).
Not be enrolled in only coursework degrees.

Value of Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships 2026:

RTP Scholarships may include:

Tuition fee offset
Stipend for general living costs
Allowances related to the ancillary cost of HDRs.
