The R. Priefer Organic Chemistry Prize recognizes an outstanding UNBC undergraduate Chemistry student who demonstrates strong potential in organic chemistry.

Eligibility Criteria for the R. Priefer Organic Chemistry Prize at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must be full-time or part-time undergraduate students.
• Applicants must have a declared major in Chemistry.
• Applicants must have completed 90 credit hours.
• Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence in relevant Chemistry courses and overall GPA.
• Applicants must demonstrate promise in organic chemistry through academic performance, research, contests, or involvement in the Chemistry Program.

Application Process for the R. Priefer Organic Chemistry Prize at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Complete the online Awards Application.
• Submit the application to the Awards and Financial Aid Office.
• The Chemistry Program nominates the recipient.
