Eligibility for PYBAR Scholarship for Engineering Excellence 2020:

Applicants must meet all the following criteria to be eligible to apply for the PYBAR Scholarship for Engineering Excellence:

  • Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident
  • Enrolled full-time (100 credits) in the second, third or fourth year of an eligible resource-related course at the Curtin University Kalgoorlie Campus in semester 2, 2020
  • Have a minimum course weighted average (CWA) of 65
  • Not in receipt of any other scholarship
  • Preference is given to second-year students

Value of PYBAR Scholarship for Engineering Excellence 2020:

The PYBAR Scholarship for Engineering Excellence will provide the following support for up to a maximum of three years (based on a full-time study load of 200 credits per year):

  • A total value of up to AUD 30,000 paid as a cash stipend of AUD 5,000 per semester. The amount can be used at the recipient’s discretion to contribute towards educational related expenses
